NRS DT SACCO staff gathered on December 6th, 2025, for an end-of-year celebration that blended appreciation, reflection, and team spirit. The event, held at Kilimo Resort in Gikambura, brought together employees from various branches, board members, and newly hired staff for a day cantered on unity and recognition.
The resort provided a relaxed atmosphere as colleagues settled in over shared meals, drinks, and lively conversations. The informal setting offered an opportunity for staff to interact beyond the workplace, reconnecting after a year of demanding schedules. New employees were introduced to the wider team, marking their official welcome into the SACCO community.
Honoring Excellence
A key highlight of the day was the awarding of outstanding performers.
- Staff of the Year went to Monicah Kimisoi, Branch Manager – Kikuyu Branch.
- Best Credit Officer was awarded to Titus Mwenda, with Chereen Gichure taking the runner-up position.
- Best Support Staff was presented to Rose Munee.
- The Finance Department was named Best Department, followed by the ICT Department.
The recognitions drew enthusiastic applause from colleagues, reflecting the value the SACCO places on dedication and consistent performance.
Leadership and Reflection
Board members took the opportunity to introduce themselves, strengthening ties with staff across all levels of the institution. The gathering also included a prayer session, setting a reflective tone for the afternoon.
Chairlady Ruth Kariuki delivered a motivational message, encouraging staff to stay focused on personal growth, teamwork, and the SACCO’s long-term purpose as a community development partner.
A Lively Close to a Busy Year
As the formalities concluded, music, dancing, and photo sessions took over the venue. The relaxed mood underscored the organization’s appreciation for its employees after months of hard work and shared achievements.
