In 2021, NRS DT Sacco introduced its mobile banking platform, launching the Okolea App. In addition, the Sacco introduced the USSD code *882# to cater to members who may not be able to access the mobile application.

The Okolea App has been a major milestone in NRS’s digital transformation journey. Through this platform, members can conveniently carry out transactions from the comfort of their homes at any time, whether on weekends or public holidays. The app is available to all members, easy to register, and free of charge.

DIGITAL MARKETING

NRS DT Sacco has also embraced the digital space through online marketing. The Sacco utilizes social media platforms, digital tools, search engine optimization, and website analytics to enhance its visibility and engagement.

This approach has enabled NRS to reach a wider audience, share marketing and organizational content, and build a strong online community. These platforms support internal and external meetings, scheduling through tools like Google Calendar, hosting webinars, and effective collaboration with colleagues, members, and other stakeholders.
