As we stand on the threshold of a new year, with just one day to go, we take this moment to reflect on a year that has defined who we are and strengthened what we stand for. 2025 has been a year of service, care, growth, and community at NRS DT SACCO.
A YEAR OF CARE BEYOND FINANCES
This year, NRS DT SACCO reaffirmed its commitment to member well-being by actively participating in Pink October, standing in solidarity with individuals and families affected by breast cancer. Through awareness initiatives and our continued promotion of Bima Afya, our health insurance solution in partnership with CIC Insurance, we demonstrated that caring for our members goes beyond savings and loans, it is about supporting healthier, more secure lives.
SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING 2025
In September, NRS DT SACCO held its Special General Meeting (SGM) 2025, bringing members together with the Board of Directors, Management, and Staff to review key updates, discuss important matters, and make decisions that shape the future of the SACCO.
The SGM provided an open and interactive platform for members to engage leadership, seek clarity, and contribute to discussions on governance and the direction of the Society. This meeting reaffirmed our commitment to transparency, accountability, and member participation, which remain central to how we operate.
32ND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM) 2025
In March 2025, NRS DT SACCO held its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM), bringing together members, the Board of Directors, Management, and staff to reflect on a year of achievement, strategic growth, and community empowerment.
The AGM provided an important platform for transparency and accountability, allowing members to review the SACCO’s performance and engage directly with leadership. Key discussions focused on the growth of loan products, digital innovations, and improvements in member services, all aimed at strengthening financial inclusion and service delivery.
Members also had the opportunity to ask questions, share feedback, and contribute to conversations shaping the SACCO’s future direction. The meeting reaffirmed NRS DT SACCO’s commitment to cooperative values, strong governance, and member-centered growth.
PUTTING MEMBERS FIRST
During Customer Service Week, we celebrated our members across all branches with themed days, special offers, and warm interactions that reflected our appreciation for your trust and loyalty. We also highlighted solutions that support your growth, including the FOSA Bizna Loan, designed to empower entrepreneurs and business owners with flexible, accessible financing.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT THAT MATTERS
Community connection remained at the heart of our activities. In December, our Marketing Team actively participated in the PCEA Mutuini Sports Evangelism Event held at Mutu-ini Primary School. The vibrant, family-friendly event brought together community members, partners, and organizations through sports, fellowship, and outreach.
By setting up a branded tent, distributing information materials, and engaging directly with attendees, we strengthened brand visibility and built meaningful relationships with both existing and prospective members. The event provided a valuable platform to share our financial solutions and reaffirm our commitment to empowerment, service excellence, and community development.
GROWING STRONGER AS ONE TEAM
As the year came to a close, our staff, board members, and new team members came together during the NRS DT SACCO Family Day Out, a moment of reflection, recognition, and renewed purpose. By celebrating excellence and strengthening teamwork, we closed the year united and ready for what lies ahead.
